I'm not sure why the reviewer who gave it 1-star rating is bringing up something that had nothing to do with the actual hard drive. This drive is fantastic, very reliable and I got a great price on it despite of the recent disaster in Thailand. It has more space than the average user will ever need and if you do, just buy another one : Western Digital has been making fantastic drives for many years and this one is no exception. 2 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Where did my previous review of warning go? By unitron I previously posted a review, which seems to have been sent down the memory hole, along with a reply to it, warning that despite the picture of the 32MB cache, non-"advanced format" WD20EADS, what J&R actually shipped to me was the 16MB cache "advanced format" WD20EACS. The label on the bottom of the box did say WDBAAY0020HNC-NRSN, and they blamed Western Digital for sending them the wrong pictures and specs. The WD20EADS also has been sold in the retail box WD20000CSRTL, but apparently the WD20EARS, a 64MB cache, "advanced format" model, has also been shipped in that box, so you can't order that and be sure of getting a WD20EADS, either.
