Just started using this drive as soon as I got it and I am real happy not only with the price but its durabilty. Very solid not like other drives made from flimsy material. Will be using this drives for years to come. I am using this drive as my master drive since I do alot of editing and have gigabytes of data from seperate hard drives. Speed & performance is as standard just as most external hard drives. Overall very happy with purchase made! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Had to return it By Dan Martin Trying to set it up on my Mac wasn't very easy. I wanted RAID 0, but with the selector set to RAID 0 my Mac couldn't see it, or actually it only saw it as a very small partition. I switched it to JBOD and was able to configure RAID using Apple's Disk Utility. It was running nicely for about a week when it suddenly wouldn't turn on anymore so I returned it and went with another drive. 5 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Item misdescribed and other issues By R. Milin Although this item is described as fanless, it in fact has a fan, though it is quiet. Also, I found that the drive spontaneously disconnected when left idle. Sometimes it could be accessed; sometimes I had to restart my computer. See all 3 customer reviews...
